**Your Pet Portrait on Greeting Cards **
Also available your portrait printed on greeting cards - 6x4 card individually cellophane wrapped. If you would like to order greeting cards of your finished portrait please discuss with Carrie. (guide price - £2 per card plus small set up charge).
Payment in full is due on receipt of the portrait if collected or delivered personally. Please make cheques payable to C.Bartlett. If personal delivery or collection cannot be arranged I can email a photograph of the portrait to ensure that you are satisfied before you send payment. The portrait will then be posted on receipt of payment.
How to Commission a Portrait

On receipt of photos I will confirm your order, agree the price and an approximate delivery date.
Taking Photographs
Photos need to be clear and sharp and taken in natural light - no flashes ! You will need a helper to hold the animal and preferably someone to attract attention with a treat or two.
Choose a pose suitable for the finished portrait. A 3/4 view usually produces a better result than face on. For horse portraits I can edit out a loose fitting headcollar or I can include a bridle in the finished portrait if you wish.
Digital photos can be emailed to me or you can send a photo to me. I will scan the photo to work from and return the original to you with the finished portrait. If you are using a photo taken by someone other than yourself please confirm that you have permission of the copyright holder.
If you are within reasonable travelling distance I will visit and photograph the animal but travelling expenses will be charged.
Completion Times
All portraits are hand drawn and will take approximately 6 weeks from receipt and approval of photographs to complete. However this can vary depending on workloads and if you have a specific date in mind please allow plenty of time (especially near Christmas!).
Gift Certificates are available if you are unable to photograph the animal without spoiling the surprise or if you have not allowed quite enough time for that special occasion.
